Cross Country Skiing is a great way to stay active and warm during snow filled winters. Also, according to XC Ski Indiana, cross country skiing is one of the few sports that can claim to be a real Total Body Workout (meaning that the activity uses every major muscle group in the upper and lower body and in both pulling and pushing motions).
