They might not be celebrating a diamond jubilee, but dogs have personalities... some more demanding than others.  If your pug, shepherd, or chihuahua is particularly desirous of pampering, here are some tips from the Pampered Dog Blog:

- Buy gourmet dog treats. Not just for taste, but for health (higher quality foods, fewer harmful additives)

- Give your dog a gift basket - Apparently it helps them feel like a member of the family

- Provide "dog steps" so that your puppy (or older dog) can easily climb onto couches, beds or other desired places

- Set up a profile for them on a Doggy Social Network (don't want them feeling left out)
